Jamshedpur, February 4: Kids International Play School’s much-anticipated Annual Sports Meet for the academic year 2023-24 kicked off with great enthusiasm at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. Padma Shri awardee Purnima Mahto inaugurated the event.

Distinguished guests, including Dr. Aastha Raman, M.D. Anaesthesiology, Purnima Mahto, International Archery Coach, and Manager Sports J.R.D., graced the occasion as chief guests. International Handball Coach Dr. Hassan Imam Mallik, Nirmala Kumari Barelia, District Education Officer, Avinash Tripathi, District Sports Officer, and Nishu Kumari, District Superintendent of Education, were also guests of honour.
The event commenced with lighting the torch, releasing balloons, and hoisting the school flag, led by the distinguished guests. School Director Syed Rashid Zafar expressed gratitude by presenting tokens of love to the guests and extending a warm welcome.

The chief guest encouraged the young participants, emphasising the importance of sportsmanship. The event featured a welcome drill by P.G. class children, captivating drill performances by the four schoolhouses – Akash, Antariksha, Prithvi, and Agni, along with a charming ramp walk. The school also announced its upcoming daycare program.
Closing the event on a thankful note, School Principal Rukhshar Ayesha extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to all participants, guests, and sponsors. The Kids International Play School Annual Sports Meet was a resounding success, fostering camaraderie and promoting a healthy spirit of competition among students, parents, and staff alike.
