Jamshedpur, Nov 16: The footfall of visitors is increasing at the ongoing  India International Trade Fair at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

The Jharkhand Pavilion is the focus state in the fair.

Traditional and civilizational items of Jharkhand are being exhibited and sold in the Jharkhand Pavilion.

Jharkhand state is the major producer of lac in the country. In such a situation, items made of lacquer are also being sold in the pavilion.

At one such stall, bangles and kada fitted with lights and sound have become the centre of attraction for the people.

An official of the Handicraft Self-reliant Cooperative Society says that the work of making and selling lacquer products was also being done by his ancestors.

As trends change they keep changing their products also. This year at the fair they have brought chargeable bluetooth connected bangles with lights.

Its price is Rs 1000 and is in great demand at the fair. Along with this, they also have other bangles made of lacquer, decorative items etc. available for visitors and guests.
