Ranchi, Nov 20: In the second phase of Jharkhand’s assembly elections, voter turnout stood at 47.92% by 1 PM. Pakur district recorded the highest participation at 53.83%, while Bokaro reported the lowest at 42.52%.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) reported the following voter turnout till 1 PM: Deoghar 49.83%, Dhanbad 43.16%, Dumka 50.28%, Giridih 48.01%, Hazaribagh 48.62%, Jamtara 52.21%, Ramgarh 51.26%, Ranchi 52.10%, and Sahebganj 47.51%.
In Jharkhand, the voter turnout for various constituencies was as follows: Baghmara 44.28%, Bagodar 47.96%, Barhet 48.25%, Bermo 45.01%, Bokaro 34.51%, Bario 47.70%, Chandanakiyari 49.51%, Deoghar 44.76%, Dhanbad 33.96%, Dhanwar 47.60%, Dumka 47.35%, Dumri 49.64%, Gandey 51.16%, Giridih 48.02%, Godda 50.22%, Gomia 48.58%, Jama 51.34%, Jamtara 49.34%, Jamua 44.23%, and Jarandih 49.42%.

Other constituencies recorded the following turnouts: Jharia 36.95%, Khijri 49.47%, Littipara 53.52%, Madhupur 51.58%, Mahagama 49.86%, Maheshpur 58.77%, Mandu 48.62%, Nala 55.96%, Nirsa 49.15%, Pakur 50.74%, Poraiyahat 50.74%, Rajmahal 46.90%, Ramgarh 51.26%, Sarath 54.80%, Shikaripada 53.55%, Silli 56.50%, Sindri 48.92%, and Tundi 48.70%.
The overall voter turnout across these constituencies reflects significant participation, with some areas like Maheshpur, Silli, and Littipada recording particularly high percentages, reaching above 50%. Other constituencies such as Bokaro and Dhanbad saw lower turnout figures, highlighting varied voter engagement throughout the state.
The voter turnout stood at 31.37% by 11 AM whereas by 9 AM the estimated voter turnout for the second phase in Jharkhand was 12.71%.
