Dhanbad, Nov 20: In a commendable move, women polling personnel successfully conducted peaceful voting operations at 18 all-female booths set up across five assembly constituencies in Dhanbad district.

These booths established to encourage female participation were only for female voters and staffed entirely by women, including polling officers and personnel.

According to district administration officials, these booths were created under the directive of Deputy Commissioner and District Electoral Officer Madhvi Mishra. The 18 designated booths included five in Sindri, five in Dhanbad Sadar, four in Jharia, three in Baghmara, and one in Nirsa constituencies.
