Jamshedpur, Dec 19: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Meteorological Centre, Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi, released its realised weather report on Friday morning based on observations recorded at 8.30 am.

Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 23.0°C, which was 0.4°C below normal, while the minimum temperature stood at 9.5°C, marginally 0.4°C above normal.
Jamshedpur registered a maximum of 25.6°C (0.8°C below normal) and a minimum of 12.4°C (1.1°C above normal).

Chaibasa reported the highest maximum temperature in the state at 26.8°C, while the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Ranchi AMFU at 6.3°C.
No rainfall was reported from any station across Jharkhand during the past 24 hours.
Fog conditions were observed at several locations. The lowest visibility was recorded at Daltonganj, where it dropped to 150 metres.
Fog was also reported in Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Deoghar during early morning hours.
The IMD stated that no cold wave conditions were observed anywhere in the state.
According to Automated Weather Station (AWS) data, Bokaro recorded a maximum temperature of 25.2°C, Deoghar 25.4°C, Pakur 26.4°C, and Saraikela 25.9°C, while minimum temperatures across districts ranged between 6.9°C and 13.1°C.
In Ranchi city, Hinoo recorded a maximum temperature of 23.0°C, while Ranchi AMFU reported a minimum of 6.3°C. All city stations reported nil rainfall.
The weather department has advised people to remain cautious during early morning hours due to fog, especially in areas with reduced visibility.
