Ranchi, May 20: In the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting took place in three Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand which includes Chatra, Hazaribagh and Koderma.
An estimated 61.90% of voting took place in Jharkhand till 5 pm.
There were long queues at the polling booth since morning as voters were waiting for their turn. A larger crowd of voters was seen in rural areas than in urban areas.

Chatra saw a voter turnout of 60.26%, Koderma recorded 61.60% voting whereas Hazaribag saw 63.66% voter turnout.
In this phase, 22 candidates are vying for the Chatra seat, 15 are competing in Koderma, and 17 are contesting in Hazaribag.
Approximately 58.34 lakh voters, including 28.35 lakh women, were eligible to cast their ballots in these three constituencies.
