Jharkhand: Retired Ranji Trophy stars of East Zone to be seen in action again

Dhanbad, January 27: Retired Ranji Trophy stars of Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal, Assam, Odisha and Tripura will be seen in action again in the veteran (above 50 years) T-20 Cricket Tournament in Jamshedpur.

The tournament will be played at Keenan Stadium Jamshedpur from April 26 to April 28. Only four teams will participate in this East Zone-level competition. The game is registered with the Veteran Cricket Association of India (VCI). Last year, Jamshedpur hosted an India veteran tournament.

Given this information, former East Zone star spinner and former captain of the United Bihar Ranji Trophy Avinash Kumar said that the last date to register for the tournament is February 28. Aadhar Card should be attached with registration for age verification.

Former Test and Ranji Trophy stars who dominated East Zone cricket for decades will be in action again at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur.

A player must be at least 50 by March 31 2024, to participate in this veteran tournament.
