Ranchi, February 12: 20 pupils from the city slum Hatma Basti participated in a painting competition organised by the social organization Pankhuri on Sunday.
Students between the ages of five and eight demonstrated their artistic abilities in the painting competition using a paintbrush on a white sheet of paper, focusing on subjects such as environmental protection and natural surroundings.
The recipients ‘ faces lit up when stationeries and candies were given out.


Saurabh Ambastha, MD, Daraad Engicon Private Limited was the chief guest while and the guest of honour was former deputy mayor Sanjeev Vijayavargia.
Later on, elderly people received blankets.
Together with other members, Pankhuri Chairperson Arti Sahuliyar inaugurated the newsletter (REACHOUT VOLUME 3).
Members of the Pankhuri Joint Secretary Sushil Kumar Srivastava, Vice President Rajesh Raj Ravi, Treasurer Hazel Davis, and Deputy Secretary Sangeeta Chitlangia were present on this particular occasion.
