The joint Forum of Unions also called off a black badge protest scheduled for today.

Joint Forum and management

“Now, representatives of Joint Forum and management will sit again on February 9 to discuss the demands of employees. We will decide over strike after March 28,” said ML Singh, general secretary.

The Union Bank Employees Association of Jharkhand had called for a day strike on January 25 for implementation of 16 points agreement reached at the meeting between unions leaders and Union Bank management on June 23, 2023. On January 11, the Union Bank Employees of Ranchi Circle held a massive dharna to support their demands at the Ranch Circle office.

General Secretary ML Singh said the strike has not been cancelled, albeit we have postponed it until March 28.
