“It is also worth noting that after analysing the trend of vehicle sales in Jharkhand, we find that the demand for two-wheelers with 150 CC or more power has increased significantly.  In the calendar year 2022, 53793 units of two-wheelers with power of 150 CC or more were sold, while in the calendar year 2023, this sale increased to 73050 units, which shows an increase of 35.8%. The total sales of two-wheelers in 2022 were 396430 units, and in 2023, it will become 434318 units, which offers an increase of only 12.13%.

The same situation is also visible in passenger vehicles.  Now, while buying a car for themselves, people are not only giving importance to the cost but also the power, safety standards provided in it, its looks and its good experience while driving the vehicle. As a result, the sales of UV vehicles are up to 65% of the total passenger vehicle sales.  This can be attributed to good roads in Jharkhand, increasing income and economic development of rural areas.
