Jamshedpur, Jan 20: Chill across Jharkhand is going to intensify in the next two to three days, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
The minimum temperature already shows a downward trend in most districts across Jharkhand as the clouds are gradually getting cleared.
The minimum reading dropped to 8.8 degrees Celsius in Ranchi today while Jamshedpur today recorded a minimum temperature of 12.2 degrees Celsius.

Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 6.9 degrees Celsius while the local observatory in Bokaro today recorded a minimum temperature of 9.1 degrees Celsius.
Jet stream winds of the order of 130-140 knots at 12.6 km above mean sea level is prevailing over the plains of North India.
Shallow to moderate fog was witnessed at a few places over the state during the past 24 hours.
