Jharkhand Weather: Cyclonic circulation to trigger heavy rain in isolated places

Jamshedpur, July 1:  A cyclonic circulation over the northwest Bay of Bengal adjoining north Odisha-Gangetic West Bengal coasts has shifted to eastern Jharkhand and this would trigger heavy rain in isolated places across Jharkhand in the next 48- hours, especially northeastern and adjoining central parts.

The cyclonic circulation was extending up to 1.5 km above the mean sea level.

Another cyclonic circulation was hovering over eastern Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Bihar extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.

According to Met office predictions, today heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over north-eastern and adjoining central parts of the state.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, heavy rainfall is predicted at isolated places over north-eastern parts of the state.

The Northern Limit of Monsoon was today passing through Jaisalmer, Churu, Hissar, Karnal, Jalandhar and  Tarantaran.

According to satellite and radar study, the southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of West Rajasthan and Haryana, remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, some more parts of Punjab and remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu.
