Jamshedpur, Dec 5:  IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather in most districts across Jharkhand in the next two days.

However, the forecast also suggested light rain in isolated parts of the state especially in northwestern parts on Sunday and Monday.

The forecast further suggested a gradual fall in minimum temperature in the next 48 hours, thereafter the minimum reading will witness a rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the subsequent days.

Statistics available from Ranchi Meteorological Centre indicated a downward trend in minimum temperature across the state.

The minimum temperature dropped by 2-3 degrees Celsius in several places.

Sub-10 chill prevailed in several isolated places of the state including Garhwa.

According to weathermen, the free flow of northerly wind was restored and this has resulted in an increase in chill.
