Jamshedpur, Oct 3: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather over Jharkhand today.
Jharkhand is under a high pressure gradient, said weathermen adding that there is no possibility of thundershowers and lightning in the next 48 hours
The maximum temperature is expected to witness a rising trend in the next two days.

The line of withdrawal of southwest monsoon was today passing through 30.8°N/81.2°E, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shivpuri, Kota, Udaipur, Deesa, Surendranagar, Junagarh and 21°N/70°E.
Satellite imagery suggested that an upper air circulation was lying over southeast Bangladesh extending up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level.
A trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over southeast Bangladesh and its neighbourhood to the North Andaman Sea across the Myanmar coast extending up to 1.5 Km above the mean sea level.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the North Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood around October 4, Friday.
