Jharkhand Weather: Gumla records state’s lowest min. temp. of 5.7°C today

Jamshedpur, Jan 18: Gumla was the coldest place in Jharkhand today with the minimum temperature recording 5.7 °C.

Chatra today recorded a minimum temperature of 6.9 degrees Celsius while Simdega recorded 8.4 degrees Celsius.

Lohardaga today recorded a minimum temperature of 9.2 degrees Celsius while Garhwa recorded 8.1 degrees.

Khunti recorded 7.9 degree Celsius while Hazaribagh notched 10.6 degree Celsius.

Forecast of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre indicated no significant changes in minimum temperature in the next 72 hours.

Satellite pictures suggested that the Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over northwest Uttar Pradesh and neighbourhood was hovering at 3.1 Km above mean sea level.

Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad and capital Ranchi today woke up to bright weather.

Weathermen said fair and moderate weather is expected to prevail in most places across the state in the next two to three days.
