Jamshedpur, Sept 24: A low-pressure area building over the Bay of Bengal is likely to trigger heavy rain in Jharkhand from tomorrow.
Weathermen said the low-pressure area is building over the west-central Bay of Bengal.
Tomorrow (September 25) heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over north-eastern parts of the state.
Thunderstorms and lightning are also likely at isolated places over the state tomorrow.
On September 26, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over north-east and adjoining central parts of the state.
On September 27, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over northern and adjoining central parts of the state.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon has started withdrawing from some parts of west Rajasthan and Kachchh from yesterday against its normal withdrawal date of September 17.
Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of southwest monsoon from some more parts of west Rajasthan and adjoining areas of Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat during the next 24 hours.
