Jamshedpur, March 29: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather in most parts of Jharkhand today while the weather office predicted rain and thunderstorm activity tomorrow (Saturday).
The maximum temperature across the state has been witnessing a rise for the past few days.
The day temperature has climbed to as high as 38 degrees Celsius in several places including Jamshedpur and Daltonganj.
A cyclonic circulation lies over north Bihar at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan Region from today itself.
Statistics revealed that dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 38.8°C was recorded at Daltonganj while the lowest minimum temperature of 16.9 °C was recorded at Lohardaga.
The Met office forecast suggested rain and thunderstorms with gusty wind at some isolated places including southern Jharkhand on Saturday and Sunday.
