Jamshedpur, Feb 4: Minimum temperature would witness a 2 to 3° rise in the next 48 hours, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre today.
The forecast also suggested an abrupt fall in minimum temperature around this weekend. No significant synoptic features prevail over Jharkhand.
A cyclonic circulation lies over north Gujarat at 0.9 Km above mean sea level. A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Northwest India from February 8.

According to statistics except for Chatra and Gumla all other places across Jharkhand today recorded minimum temperatures above 10 degrees Celsius.

Chatra today recorded a minimum temperature of 9.3 degrees Celsius while Gumla recorded 9.7 degrees.
Capital Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 12.6 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur notched 14.2 degrees.
Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 12.7 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 12.1 degrees.
Met statistics further revealed that Baharagora in East Singhbhum district today recorded the state’s highest minimum temperature of 16.7 degrees Celsius.
