Jamshedpur, Jan 19:  IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert of dense to moderate for in several parts of Jharkhand during the next 48 hours.

The weather office also predicted an abrupt fall in minimum temperature ranging between two to four degrees Celsius during the next 2 to 3 days.

Weathermen said the weather conditions would be primarily dry over Jharkhand during the next three days.

“The impact of the twin cyclonic circulations which resulted in adverse weather conditions and rain over Jharkhand during the past couple of days, is on the wane. However, several districts in northern and central Jharkhand are expected to be in the grip of dense to moderate fog for the next two days. The fog would result in poor visibility,” explained a duty officer at IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

According to weathermen, a partly cloudy sky is expected to prevail in several places across Jharkhand today. The Met Office issued a forecast of mainly clear sky in most parts of the state from tomorrow.

Today, the minimum temperature in most parts of the state witnessed a rising trend due to the partly cloudy sky.

But, from tomorrow onwards the minimum temperatures would witness a dip. According to weathermen, the sub-10 chill would again make a comeback in Jharkhand in the next two to three days.
