Jamshedpur, Nov 21: The minimum temperature witnessed around two degrees Celsius rise in most parts of Jharkhand including Ranchi and Jamshedpur today.
Weathermen attributed the rise in minimum reading to fluctuating wind pattern which prevented the free flow of northerly wind.
In its forecast, IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted no significant changes in minimum temperature during the next 48 hours. Thereafter, the night reading is expected to witness a slight drop.
Statistics revealed that Ranchi today recorded minimum temperature of 14.4 degree Celsius against yesterday’s 12.2 degree Celsius.
Similarly, Jamshedpur and its adjoining areas today recorded a minimum temperature of around 17 degree Celsius against yesterday’s 15.2 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature also witnessed a rising trend in Daltonganj and several other places.
According to weathermen, no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.
Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.
Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 30.4°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 11.5°C was recorded at Garhwa.
Weathermen ruled out any adverse weather conditions or rain in any place during the next three to four days.
The satellite pictures and wind chart analysis suggested dry and clear weather in most districts across Jharkhand in the next 72 hours.
