Jharkhand Weather: Moderate fog alert for next 48 hours

Jamshedpur, Jan 6:  The rising trend in minimum temperature will be coupled with moderate fog in several parts of Jharkhand during the next 48 hours, said a forecast issued by the Ranchi Meteorological Centre of IMD.

The western disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over north Haryana and neighbourhood persists and was seen between 3.1 km and  4.5 km above the mean sea level.

The induced cyclonic circulation over southwest Uttar Pradesh and neighbourhood was lying over northeast Rajasthan and neighbourhood extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.

Dry weather prevailed over the state, while shallow to moderate fog was also recorded at isolated places over southern and adjoining central parts of the state, during the past 24 hours.

The minimum temperature in most places across Jharkhand recorded four to five degrees above the average normal.

The highest maximum temperature of 27.6°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 10.3 °C was recorded at Godda.
