Jamshedpur, Feb 28: The night temperature (read minimum temperature) will witness a gradual rise for the next few days, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
According to the forecast, a few isolated places in northern Jharkhand are also expected to witness light rain today and tomorrow.
“The weather is in transition phase due to departing winter. The maximum temperature would also witness a gradual rise,” said a duty officer at the Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand. An induced cyclonic circulation lies over northwest Rajasthan at 1.5 Km above the mean sea level.
Statistics of Ranchi Met Centre indicated a rising trend in minimum temperature in most parts of the state.
The minimum temperature has already touched 18-19 degrees Celsius in Jamshedpur and its adjoining areas.
In Chatra, the minimum reading was hovering around 11 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the state.
