Jamshedpur, July 22: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre did not issue any alerts for the next 24 hours.
Today’s forecast only suggested light rain at several places due to a weak monsoon trough.
There would also be no major changes in maximum temperature during the next 72 hours.

The well-marked low-pressure area over interior Odisha and the neighbourhood moved northwestwards and now lies over interior Odisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh.

It is likely to move northwestwards across Chhattisgarh and weaken gradually into a low-pressure area today.
The monsoon trough at mean sea level was passing through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Mandla and the centre of well-marked low-pressure areas over interior Odisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh, Chandbali and thence east-southeastwards to east-central Bay of Bengal
The deficit rainfall of Jharkhand as of today stood at 51 per cent. As per Met statistics still all 24 districts of the state figure in the rain loss list.
