Jamshedpur, March 2: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of rain and thunderstorms in isolated areas of Jharkhand for the next 72 hours.
Today’s (Saturday) forecast indicated light rain with thunderstorms at isolated places over north-western parts of the state.
Tomorrow (March 3) light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is likely to occur at a few places over the state.
Thunderstorms and lightning accompanied with gusty wind (max wind speed: 30-40 kmph) are likely at isolated places over western and adjoining central parts of the state tomorrow.

A hailstorm is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Garhwa, Palamu and Latehar tomorrow (Sunday).
Light rain with thunderstorms is likely to occur at isolated places over the state on Monday, March 4.
On Tuesday, March 5, light rain with thunderstorms is also likely to occur at isolated places over southern and adjoining central parts of the state.
The forecast of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre also suggested a gradual rise in both the maximum and minimum temperature in the next few days.
