Jamshedpur, Nov 18: Shallow to moderate fog will continue to affect early morning visibility at several isolated places in the next two days.
In a weather bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre it said after the next two days there is possibility of heavy fog in some places.
The impact of the fog would be felt more just after sunrise.
According to the forecast, the shallow fog is expected to reduce surface visibility below 1000 metres in isolated places.
The impact of the fog would be felt more in those places located in hilly terrain.
The night readings indicated a downward trend.
Ranchi and Bokaro yesterday recorded a minimum temperature of 13.5 degrees Celsius while Deoghar recorded 13.6 degrees Celsius.
Jamshedpur recorded a minimum temperature of 14.8 degrees Celsius while Chaibasa in the neighbouring West Singhbhum district recorded a minimum temperature of 14.6 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
Seraikela in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district recorded a minimum temperature of 14.9 degrees Celsius.
