Jamshedpur, May 21: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert of thunderstorm accompanied by rain and lightning in isolated areas of Jharkhand today.
Some places would witness gusty wind (max wind speed: 40-50 kmph). Such places include north-eastern, southern and adjoining central parts of the state.
In fact, Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted thunderstorm activity over the state till May 24, Friday.

Tomorrow, thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty wind (max wind speed: 40-50 kmph) are likely at isolated places over parts of the state.

On May 23, Thursday, thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty wind (max wind speed: 30-40 kmph) are likely at isolated places over the state.
On May 24, Friday, thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty wind (max wind speed: 30-40 kmph) are expected over north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state.
Weatherman said a hot and humid climate is expected to prevail at some places across the state in the next two to three days.
