Dhanbad, Sept 5: A delegation of the Jharkhand Industries and Trade Association (JITA) met Indrajit Yadav, Joint Director and Head of Department of the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, during his visit to Dhanbad.

The delegation, led by JITA president Amitesh Sahay and general secretary Rajiv Sharma, highlighted pressing issues faced by industries in the region.

Concerns Over GST on Coal Products

The delegation expressed serious concern over the recent amendments recommended by the GST Council regarding coal products.

Industrialists stated that the revised GST rates would significantly increase costs, making it harder for small and medium enterprises to sustain operations.
