Voters Back Tribal Leadership, Reject Opposition Push
The result reflects strong tribal support for JMM and continuity in leadership.
Somesh Soren’s groundwork in the constituency, combined with the party’s organisational strength, helped consolidate votes.
Despite a spirited campaign, BJP’s Babulal Soren, son of Champai Soren, struggled to close the gap.
The presence of multiple smaller candidates did not split the vote enough to challenge JMM.
Ghatshila’s voters have delivered a clear and emphatic mandate in favour of the ruling party.
