New Delhi, Oct 26: Coal India Limited has issued a notification for the recruitment of Management Trainees. A total of 640 positions will be filled. The application process for these positions will begin on October 29, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment until November 28, 2024.

Candidates applying for this vacancy must have a GATE score. To apply, candidates need to visit the official website at www.coalindia.in.

A total of 640 positions are available, distributed across various fields: Mining has 263 positions, Civil has 91, Electrical has 102, Mechanical has 104, Systems has 41, and E&T (Electronics and Telecommunication) has 39.

Applicants are advised to carefully read the official notification before applying, as any discrepancies in the application form may lead to the rejection of the application.

Age Limit

For candidates applying for this recruitment, the maximum age limit is set at 30 years for those in the General and EWS categories as of September 30, 2024.

OBC candidates will receive a 3-year age relaxation, while SC and ST candidates will get a 5-year relaxation.

Eligibility

According to the eligibility criteria, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or a relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks.

A relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks is provided for SC, ST, and disabled candidates, allowing those with 55% marks to apply for this recruitment.

Candidates should note that in the case of a tie in GATE scores, Coal India Limited (CIL) will use a tie-breaking formula to finalize the merit list.
