New Delhi, March 8: On International Women’s Day, Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda launched the ‘Mahila Samridhi Yojana,’ a direct cash transfer initiative aimed at benefiting women in Delhi.

During the event, Nadda announced that the scheme, which will provide Rs 2,500 to women across the city, has been approved today, with a total of Rs 5,100 crore allocated for its implementation.

Nadda expressed his satisfaction with the initiative, congratulating Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and others involved in the project. He acknowledged the significant role women played in securing BJP’s success in Delhi, attributing the party’s victory to their unwavering support and blessings.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva confirmed that the registration process for the scheme will begin soon, and the funds will be disbursed accordingly to empower women in the capital. He said that Rs 5100 crore has been sanctioned for one year to implement this scheme.
