Ranchi, Sept 18: The Jharkhand High Court will now hear a petition seeking a CBI investigation into the JSSC-CGL paper leak case on October 15.

The hearing took place on Wednesday before a bench comprising Chief Justice and Justice Rajesh Shankar.
During the proceedings, the successful candidates, the state government, and JSSC requested the court to lift the stay on the publication of results. However, the court did not agree, meaning the stay on result publication remains in effect for now.

The High Court has also directed the CID to submit an updated status report on the investigation conducted so far.
Senior Advocate Rajiv Ranjan and Advocate Piyush Chitresh represented the state government, while Advocate Sanjoy Piperwal appeared for JSSC.
Senior Advocate Gopal Shankar argued on behalf of the successful candidates, and Senior Advocate Ajit Kumar represented the petitioners.
