Light rain forecast over northern Jharkhand in next 48 hours

Jamshedpur, Feb 27: Some places in north-western and north-eastern Jharkhand are expected to witness light rain on Friday and Saturday (February 28 and March 1). IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast in this regard today.

The forecast also indicated a 2-3 degree Celsius rise in minimum temperature from tomorrow.

Winter is in a retreating phase and this will result in a rise in both the maximum and minimum temperatures.

No synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.

Satellite pictures suggested that a cyclonic circulation was hovering over Rajasthan at 0.9 Km above the mean sea level.

Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 18 degrees. Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 13 degrees Celsius.

Chatra today recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 10.6 degrees Celsius.
