Jamshedpur, Nov 1: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain and thundershowers at a few places in eastern and adjoining central parts of Jharkhand on Saturday, while the rest of the state is expected to experience dry weather.

According to the IMD bulletin, from November 2 to 6, the weather across Jharkhand is likely to remain dry, with shallow to moderate fog or mist in the mornings followed by mainly clear skies later in the day.

The department stated that the well-marked low-pressure area, the remnant of severe cyclonic storm “Montha”, which was earlier over central Chhattisgarh, moved north-northeastwards and lay over northwest Jharkhand.
