New Delhi, Nov 27: The Lok Sabha proceedings on Wednesday were adjourned for the day due to a commotion sparked by the opposition’s demand for a discussion on several issues, especially the Adani indictment.
At the same time, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day as well.
Earlier, during the second day of the winter session of Parliament, the lower house was adjourned until 12:00 PM.
Following the passage of Union Minister Jitendra Singh’s motion, BJP MP Dilip Saikia, presiding over the session, announced that the lower house was adjourned for the day and would reconvene on November 28 at 11:00 AM.

This followed opposition MPs submitting notices to move an adjournment motion in both houses to discuss matters concerning Manipur, the Adani indictment, and the ongoing violence in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh.
In the Rajya Sabha, Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala submitted a notice for a suspension of business under Rule 267 to raise the issue of Gautam Adani’s indictment.
