Mumbai, Dec 5: Devendra Fadnavis took the oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra today.
Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Devendra Fadnavis at Azad Maidan in Mumbai.
Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and NCP’s Ajit Pawar took the oath as Deputy Chief Ministers.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President J.P. Nadda, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, and Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Haryana’s Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Chhattisgarh Chief Minter Vishnu Deo Sai, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also attended the event.
The ceremony was attended by industrialists Kumar Mangalam Birla, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Anant Ambani, Akash Ambani, and other VVIPs.
Film actors Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Madhuri Dixit, cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar also marked their presence.
