Jamshedpur, May 7: Clear sky and predominantly dry weather conditions are expected to prevail across large parts of the country today and in next three days, according to the latest meteorological observations.

The current atmospheric pattern continues to support stable weather, with little to no precipitation reported in most regions.

A key weather feature influencing the current conditions is an east-west trough extending from East Rajasthan to North Bangladesh.

The trough passes through North Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Sikkim, positioned at approximately 0.9 Km above mean sea level.

This low-level trough is a typical pre-monsoon feature and often marks a transition in weather patterns during this time of year.
Despite the presence of this trough, no significant rainfall activity is expected due to the lack of strong moisture incursion from the Bay of Bengal or Arabian Sea.
Skies are expected to remain mostly clear, offering ideal conditions for outdoor activities, while the dry weather will persist over the plains and adjoining hill regions.
Daytime temperatures may see a gradual rise in some interior regions due to the clear skies and increased solar heating.
However, residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat-related stress, especially in areas where temperatures are nearing seasonal highs.
Met department will continue to monitor weather developments closely, and any changes or warnings will be promptly communicated to the public.
