Man kills himself after murdering mother, wife and children in UP’s Sitapur

Lucknow, May 11: In the Plahapur village of Rampur-Mathura police station area, a mentally unstable man destroyed his entire family in one stroke. The young man first shot his mother, then he killed his wife by hitting her with a hammer and after this, he also killed his three innocent children by throwing them from the roof. After this, he also committed suicide by shooting himself.

The deceased have been identified as Anurag (45 years), his mother Savitri (65 years), wife (40 years) and three children (ages 12, 9 and 6 years).

The man was an alcohol addict

Regarding the incident, it is said that Anurag was addicted to drinking alcohol. The family wanted to take him to an addiction-free centre. There was a dispute between Anurag and his family members at night regarding this matter. After this, at five in the morning, Anurag carried killed his family and committed suicide.

Hearing the screams, people nearby reached there and saw this horrifying scene. They informed the police about the incident. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took possession of all the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. There is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area after the incident.
