New Delhi, July 19: Due to a technical issue in Microsoft Corp’s cloud services, flights worldwide, including in India, were affected on Friday, July 19. Some flights had to be cancelled, while others were delayed.
Akasa Airlines reported that some of its online services will be temporarily unavailable at Mumbai and Delhi airports. Services such as booking and check-in will be temporarily inaccessible.
SpiceJet stated that they are currently experiencing technical issues in providing updates on flight disruptions. Their team is actively working to resolve the issue. They apologize for any inconvenience and will inform customers once the problem is resolved.
Computers and laptops stopped working in many companies
A technical glitch was observed in Microsoft at around 12 noon on Friday. Its effect was seen in many big companies. In these companies, at around 12 noon, the laptops and computers of many employees shut down automatically.

This glitch was seen continuously for a long time. Meanwhile, the employee’s computer and laptop restarted several times, but after some time it shut down again. This glitch in Microsoft has been seen in many well-known companies around the world.
Many Microsoft services stopped working
It is reported that the issues at Microsoft have impacted almost all of the company’s services. Users are experiencing difficulties with Microsoft 360, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Store, and Microsoft cloud-powered services.
The outage detection platform Down Detector has also confirmed the worldwide outage. There are over 900 reports of issues with Microsoft 365.
Regarding the issue Microsoft said, “We are aware of the issue and have engaged multiple teams to resolve it. We have identified the cause.”
