The abrupt fall in minimum temperature was due to the restoration of cold and crisp north-westerly wind, said weathermen.

According to the predictions of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre the chill is further going to intensify.

The forecast indicated a 2-3 degrees fall in minimum temperature in the next 72 hours.
