Accused Tracked to Murshidabad

Based on the evidence, police identified the prime suspect as Sheikh Irshadul, 55, a contract worker who had been employed under Gaddi for nearly eight years. Irshadul allegedly conspired to kidnap the child over a minor monetary dispute involving only a few thousand rupees.

Following leads, a team of Jamshedpur police officers, accompanied by the victim’s father, travelled to Murshidabad district on Friday. The child was successfully rescued and the accused was taken into custody.
