New Delhi, June 7: During a significant gathering at Parliament Central Hall, the newly elected MPs of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unanimously approved a resolution naming Narendra Modi as their Parliamentary party leader. They also endorsed him as Prime Minister.

Modi thanks NDA for support after becoming leader

Following his election as the leader of the NDA parliamentary party, Modi conveyed his appreciation, highlighting the NDA’s status as India’s most successful pre-poll alliance. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to all involved, noting the significance of the warm reception from such a large group.

Modi extended congratulations to all victorious allies and expressed thanks to colleagues for their unanimous support in selecting him as the NDA leader. He expressed profound gratitude for this gesture.

Modi stresses trust as foundation

Modi stated that in 2019, he had placed his trust in one thing: trust. He emphasized that when you entrust him with this responsibility once again, it signifies an unbreakable bridge of trust between both parties. This unbroken relationship stands on the solid foundation of trust, which is the greatest asset. He expressed his gratitude, saying that whatever thanks he gives to everyone is less compared to their contribution.

Majority crucial for governance, consensus vital to run nation

PM Modi stated that a majority is necessary to run the government. This is a fundamental principle of democracy. However, consensus is crucial to govern the country. He assured the people of the country that with the mandate they have given to run the government, their efforts will be to seek common consensus and leave no stone unturned in taking the country forward.
