National Youth Day brings fitness and unity to the streets of Ranchi

Ranchi, Jan 12: National Youth Day witnessed an inspiring celebration of fitness and community in Ranchi as 60 participants joined the , organized by the i3 Foundation. This vibrant event brought together individuals aged 12 to 58, highlighting the importance of health and unity.

Supported by DiGiCrow and G-Tech Education as sponsors, the event aimed to raise awareness about health, fitness, and active lifestyles.

Event Highlights

Routes

  • 25 km route: Starting from Morhabadi, passing through Pithoria, and returning via Kanke Road.
  • 50 km route: Following the same path with an extended turning point at Kumhariya (Chandwe Market Road).

Past and Future Initiatives

Last year, on August 17, 2024, the i3 Foundation successfully organized a 30 km Cyclothon with 15 Everest summiteers and civilian participants. The event covered a route from JAP1 Auditorium to Dhurwa Dam and was highly praised.

Looking ahead, the foundation has unveiled its 2025 annual event calendar. It has committed to hosting a Cyclothon every second Sunday of the month in Ranchi, fostering a culture of fitness and well-being.

Vision and Support

Rajeev Gupta, Founder and Director of i3 Foundation, shared his vision, stating:

“Our goal is not just to promote fitness but also to inspire people to embrace a healthier lifestyle.”

He also emphasized the collective effort behind the event’s success, crediting i3 Foundation members such as Amit Modi, Firoz Khan, Kailash Manjhi, and Kanishk Poddar, along with the entire volunteer team and G-Tech’s support.

“We aim to make Ranchi a vibrant and thriving city where such activities become a regular part of life,” added Gupta.

Cyclothon 25

The Cyclothon 25 on National Youth Day stood as a testament to the growing awareness and enthusiasm for fitness in Ranchi. With initiatives like these, the city is on its way to becoming a hub for health-conscious living and community engagement.
