Jamshedpur, August 2: The NHES Alumni Connect held its third successful Blood Donation Camp on Saturday at Narbheram Hansraj English School, Bistupur. The event saw an enthusiastic response from alumni, teachers, students, and parents, all coming together in a shared mission to save lives.

Organised on the school premises, the camp drew 130 willing donors, of whom 89 were found eligible and successfully donated blood. The Blood Bank of Jamshedpur ensured smooth collection and handling, meeting all required health and safety protocols.

“This event reflects the values this institution imparts,” said the SP. “Its students go out into the world and return to give back in deeply meaningful ways. One unit of blood can save up to three lives—that’s no small impact. While we chase technological progress, let’s not forget that basic healthcare efforts like this can still be the difference between life and death.”

“This is a noble and selfless act,” he said. “The alumni, led by a passionate organising team, alongside the Principal and Administrative Coordinator Subhash Banerjee, deserve full credit for making this possible. It’s a proud moment for the entire NHES community.”

The NHES Alumni Connect continues to grow its impact, transforming goodwill into action—one unit of blood at a time.
