Bengaluru, Dec 13: In connection with a terror conspiracy case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) searched over six places in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Based on certain intelligence, multiple NIA teams conducted coordinated raids at several Bengaluru locations with the state police force.
Raids on the premises of suspects who are linked to terrorism and who are acting under the guidance of their foreign handlers are still going on. Moreover, the individuals under suspicion had been actively engaged in multiple acts of terrorism.

NIA arrested 15 ISIS operatives on Dec 9
This move comes just days after the operation against the ISIS operatives in which following extensive and widespread raids across Maharashtra and Karnataka on December 9, the NIA arrested 15 operatives of the banned terror group ISIS.
In relation to the case, NIA teams raided 44 locations in Padgha-Borivali, Thane, Mira Road, Pune (Maharashtra), and Bengaluru (Karnataka). During these operations, 15 individuals were apprehended for their alleged roles in promoting terrorism and engaging in activities associated with the proscribed organization.
