Jammu, Feb 10: As part of its offensive against those allegedly responsible for funding terrorism and radicalizing youth, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out several raids across Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officials stated.
They said that the raids were taking place in a number of locations, including Gujjar Nagar and Jammu city’s Shaheedi Chowk.
The officials stated that the NIA agents raided a private school and locations connected to three of its employees, including the chairman’s home.

Raids against Jamaat-e-Islami J&K
Officials reported that the homes of two former leaders affiliated with the banned organization Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir underwent searches in Kulgam district.
They further added that the searches were carried out at the homes of former Jamaat chief Sheikh Ghulam Hassan and another leader named Sayar Ahmad Reshi.
In February 2019, the Center imposed a five-year ban on Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu & Kashmir.
