Sources have indicated that the terror group, as per intelligence inputs, is actively involved in anti-India activities and has acquired the capability to plot attacks while also engaging in the recruitment of youths.

The recent operation by the NIA follows their raids in multiple locations in Bengaluru, Karnataka, a few days ago. The focus of those raids was on the radicalization of prisoners by a member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist group.
