Bengaluru, April 13: In the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case, a special NIA court in Karnataka’s Bengaluru on Saturday granted the NIA (National Investigation Agency) 10 days custody of the two accused for additional investigation.
Today, the two accused Adbul Matheen Ahmed Taahaa and Mussavir Hussain Shazib were presented before a National Investigation Agency special court judge.
Due to their alleged involvement in the March 1 explosion at the Rameshwaram Cafe here, which left 10 persons injured, the accused were brought from Kolkata to the state capital on transit remand.

NIA says that Taahaa was the mastermind and Shazib was the one who put in the improvised explosive device (IED) at the cafe.
In the preceding month, the NIA offered a reward of Rs 10 lakh each for anyone who provides information leading to the apprehension of the two accused individuals.
The NIA team on Friday apprehended Adbul Matheen Taha and Mussavir Hussain Shazeb after tracking them down to their hiding place near Kolkata, according to officials.
