In a significant step towards strengthening higher education, research and innovation in Jharkhand, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur and Sona Devi University, Ghatshila, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote academic collaboration, skill development and industry-oriented learning.
The three-year agreement, aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aims to enhance cooperation in research, innovation, faculty development, student exchange, internships, industry collaboration and employment-oriented education.
Under the MoU, the two institutions will jointly undertake research projects, faculty development programmes (FDPs), national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, certificate courses, corporate training, student and faculty exchange programmes, summer internships, and industrial visits
