Daltonganj, Feb 7: A team of officers comprising DDC cum DC in-charge M Shabbir Ahmad, SDM Sadar Sulochana Meena and City Commissioner Md Jawed Husaain took stock of the location Dubiya Kharn where government Adivasi Vikas Maha Kumbh Mela will be held on February 11 and 12.
DDC Shabbir Ahmad told this correspondent, “The state finance minister Radha Krishna Kishore is to inaugurate the Mela. We are to set up 40 different stalls here for the benefit of the visitors.”
“There will be an eye check-up facility here too. The mobile van for eye check-up will be here for both days”, said the DDC.

On being reminded that a huge rush of people may affect the passage of the ambulance to which Ahmad said there would be adequate traffic monitoring and all care would be taken for the smooth passage of the ambulance through this Mela stretch on both days.
Sulochana said the team today explored the locations/ venues for three parking lots, mobile toilets are facilities for drinking water.
The Adivasi Mela holds immense significance as it sees a huge assemblage of tribal men, women and children of all age groups.
