One Naxal killed in encounter with DRG in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma

Sukma, Feb 24: A Naxal insurgent was killed during a confrontation with the District Reserve Guards (DRG) on Saturday in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.

The Naxal was slain in the Burkalanka jungle area amid a gunfight that broke out between DRG jawans and the outlaws, according to Chhattisgarh police.

Sukma SP Kiran Chouhan reported that the DRG found the Naxal’s body during a search operation.

The SP further stated that there is a search operation in progress in the area.
